Terms of Service

Effective November 7, 2026. GreetDesk is operated by a Canadian sole proprietor in Ontario, Canada. These terms apply when you create an account or use our website assistant service. Contact support@greetdesk.ca with questions.

Your account and subscription

You must be able to enter a binding agreement and have authority to act for the business you register. Keep your sign-in links and account access secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and for having permission to use the websites and content you submit.

The free trial lasts 14 days and includes up to 100 conversations across your account, without a credit card. Paid plans are monthly subscriptions with the prices, currency, usage limits and applicable taxes shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. We will give notice of material price changes before they apply to a renewal.

Cancellation and availability

You can cancel renewal through Manage billing in your dashboard. Paid access continues until the end of the current paid period. Fees already paid are not normally refunded or prorated, except where required by law. Contact support if billing is incorrect. At a usage limit or after a trial ends, the assistant may switch to collecting leads rather than answering questions. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Your content and AI answers

You keep ownership of your content and give us permission to process it to provide the service. You are responsible for your bot’s facts, permissions, privacy notices and lawful collection of visitor information. Review the facts and test answers before publishing, and keep information current.

AI can give incomplete or incorrect answers, even when supplied with accurate sources. Responses are not professional medical, legal, financial or other regulated advice. Confirm important information with the business or an appropriately qualified professional. Do not rely on the assistant for emergencies or decisions requiring guaranteed accuracy.

Acceptable use

Do not use GreetDesk for unlawful conduct, spam, fraud, harassment, impersonation, infringement, or collection of sensitive information without a lawful basis and appropriate safeguards. Do not bypass usage limits, probe other accounts, distribute malware, or interfere with the service. We may suspend access to address abuse, nonpayment or security risks, and will provide notice where reasonably possible.

Responsibility and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without a guarantee of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or business results. GreetDesk is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or loss of business arising from use of the service. Our total liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not exclude rights or liabilities that cannot legally be limited, including applicable consumer protections.

Changes and governing law

We will notify account holders of material changes to these terms before they take effect. You may cancel if you do not accept them. Ontario law and applicable Canadian federal law govern these terms. Disputes are subject to the courts of Ontario, except where mandatory law gives you other rights.
